Review previously developed project design criteria and corresponding Design-Build Proposal for NOW Foods to provide analysis of adequacy and options. Scope included comprehensive management of design, permitting and construction while adhering to mandatory schedule, quality, LEED certification, and NOW Foods’ expansion requirements.
Peak worked closely with Avison Young to develop project performance criteria corresponding to the proposal design and construction benchmarks previously provided while also meeting cost constraints, quality, schedule and desired long-term product process flexibility. Unique project details include LEED Gold energy features, vertical flow-through food supplement manufacturing process regulated by FDA requirements, high efficiency rack warehousing, and energy optimized variable-speed motor center controlled manufacturing equipment.
