Peak Construction Corporation Is Alberto Culver’s Choice To Construct A 3,800 Square Foot Mechanical Penthouse In Melrose Park, Illinois

Mike Sullivan, president and founder of Peak Construction Corporation, announces that the firm will construct a large mechanical penthouse for Alberto Culver to handle their new production facility at their headquarters located in Melrose Park, Illinois.

“Having previously completed renovations to the truck docks and multiple build-outs for this client, Peak has earned the trust and confidence of the Alberto Culver management team. Consequently, we were asked to assist with devising a plan that would increase production space and efficiency at the current facility. Our team designed a roof top solution to accommodate our client’s need,” says Sullivan. “Peak’s ability to successfully conduct work without disruption to the facility’s office operations, production and schedules has allowed Alberto Culver to do what they do best, fill the needs of their customers without interruption of service,” said Sullivan.

The mechanical penthouse will provide space for equipment through an addition onto the second floor roof by converting the roof into a protected and enclosed structure with a concrete reinforced floor for support. The project is to include insulated metal panel walls on structural steel post and beam construction. Construction is to begin April 2007 with completion scheduled for June 2007.

Peak Construction Corporation’s project team includes Dale Carter, senior project manager and Tony Amettis, project superintendent. The architect is Dobrin & Associates, Lincolnshire, Ill.
