Des Plaines, IL (April 2, 2015) — Peak Construction Corporation was selected by Janko Group as Design Builder for the new Holiday Inn Express & Suites Galesburg, Illinois. Peak Construction broke ground in the beginning of January. IHG is rolling out a new prototype design for the Holiday Inn Express & Suites brand and the 3-story, 81 guestroom hotel will be one of the first new prototype hotels constructed to replace the existing Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Galesburg. The wood-frame structure, with EIFS and cultured stone façade, will feature a variety of room types, a fitness facility, an indoor pool, multiple meeting rooms, lifestyle lounge and business center. Completion is expected at the end of October 2015.
