Currently Bill Nielsen joined Peak in 2006 as Project Superintendent and was promoted to Field Operations Manager in 2019.  Bill’s day-to-day responsibilities include managing all field staff and their respective projects, including schedule adherence, safety and jobsite documentation compliance and SWPPP, as well as, implementing and sustaining Peak’s Quality Assurance program.  Additionally, Bill works closely with Peak’s Safety Director to manage Peak’s company-wide safety program and requirements including third party safety site visits and weekly safety audits.  He also works hand-in-hand with Peak’s Operations Team as a liaison with current and new clients.

Expertise Bill brings almost 50 years of carpentry and superintendent experience, including 16 years with Peak.  His wide-ranging knowledge, strong work ethic and effective communication skills aid in his mastery of the field and ability to manage and motivate project teams.  Bill’s expertise results in lasting client relationships and successful, award-winning projects.

Experience Bill’s history is the classic success story: He started his career as a laborer with Pepper Construction Group and moved his way up to Carpenter, Foreman and Superintendent where Bill found his niche.  Bill has held Field Site/Project Superintendent positions with well-known companies including Kajima and Epstein. Bill’s experience ranges from $1 – $200 million projects across multiple markets including healthcare, hospitality, industrial, office, retail and specialty projects.  Over his career, Bill has worked with clients across the Midwest including First Hospitality Group, Sunstar Americas, Marriott, LG Electronics, Hyatt, The Pampered Chef, AT&T, American Airlines/O’Hare and the Chicago Police Department.
